By the time this part of year – the time when it is still too chilly to wear summer clothes, but sunny enough that you want to spend every waking minute soaking up sunshine – we’re all tired of wearing black cardigans, long dark denim bottoms, black leggings, and tall brown boots. Everything seems too grungy and dark for the improving spring weather. Now is the time to add some flavor and color to your wardrobe.
Invest in a few pastel pieces this month! Pastels will brighten up your wardrobe, can be mixed with denim, can be paired with light summer colors, and will carry you through the summer transition.

Don’t fear doubling up on matching pastels. Go head-to-toe monochromatic to make a real statement. Add neutrals (like camel) or solid darker shades so you don’t feel too matchy-matchy.
