With over 20 bars and restaurants in their little one-mile stretch of ocean, Dewey Beach has quite a reputation for being a town that loves to party. Free Monday Night Movies in Dewey Beach

Join the Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce every Monday night for free Monday Night Movies. The movies start around 8:30 PM (dusk) on the beach at Dagsworthy St. in Dewey. Grab your kids and beach chairs make your way down to the beach to claim your spot in the sand. The event is free but donations help keep the fun alive. This year’s movie schedule is as follows:

Free Bonfires in Dewey Beach on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Grab your marshmallows and your trusty roasting stick and head to the beach at Dagsworthy St. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Bonfires are hosted on the beach in Dewey from 7 PM to 9 PM every Tuesday and Wednesday night. The bonfires will run from June 13th to August 30th (excluding July 4th since extra special festivities are in store that night!). Again, this is also a donation based event so while it’s free to attend, your donations help keep the fire burning!

Free Skimboarding Clinics in Dewey Beach

Join Alley-Oop Skim Inc. for their free Saturday Skim Clinics in Dewey Beach. Held from 9 AM to 10 AM from June 17th to July 8th on the beach at New Orleans St., participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at skimboarding. The clinic is limited to 40 participants so make sure to sign up if you’re interested. If you don’t have your own board, Alley-Oop has some you can borrow! Sign up here on their website.

Free Parking in Dewey Beach

What’s better than free movies, free bonfire, and free skimboarding? FREE PARKING! We all know parking in the summer requires a good amount of planning to find the perfect free spot but on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights in Dewey, from 5 PM to 11 PM, you won’t have to worry! Now you can enjoy those free movies and bonfires, along with free parking.
