DESCRIPTION:To protest the Trump Administration’s plans to open the Atlantic to offshore oil and gas development\, Assateague Coastal Trust\, The Assateague Coastkeeper\, Oceana\, and Surfrider’s Ocean City Chapter are calling all supporters of an offshore drilling free Atlantic to join them for an on-the-water rally in defense of our coast in Ocean City\, MD called Float for the Coast.\nFloat for the Coast offers participants the opportunity to hit the water in a demonstration of solidarity in our opposition to offshore drilling in the Atlantic that will imperil not only our environment\, but our fishing and tourism economy as well. \n\n*Schedule of Events:\n8:30am – Registration at Bahia Marina\n10:00am – Flotilla Launch from Bahia Marina\n11:30am – Flotilla Arrives at Roland E. Powell Convention Center\n12:00pm – Speakers and Rally \n12:45pm – Flotilla begins trip back to Bahia Marina\n2:00pm – Participants invited to informal social hour at Fish Tales Bar and Grill located adjacent to Bahia Marina\n\n*Schedule subject to change.
