BRIDGES TO THE WORLD OF INTERNATIONAL FILM SERIES: (Hungary, Hungarian with English Subtitles) October 1944, Auschwitz-Birkenau. Hungarian Saul is a member of the group of Jewish prisoners forced to assist the Nazis. When he discovers the body of a boy he takes for his son, he decides to carry out an impossible task: save the children's body, find a rabbi to recite the mourner's Kaddish and offer the boy a proper burial.
