After a few hectic weeks, we decided to treat ourselves to some fresh air and autumn fun this weekend. We started with a trip to the downtown OCtoberfest in Ocean City, taking a stroll through the beach maze while enjoying the warm Sunday sun. While we were getting lost in the endless maze of fall fun, we decided to take note of all of the other local venues hosting fall activities. With autumn activities happening all over the Eastern Shore this fall, we suggest you take advantage of the beautiful autumn weather before another rainstorm hits!

Breckenridge Adventures

4032 Mill Rd, Vienna, MD

On our adventures at Breckenridge, we thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in the nine acre corn maze. The outer space theme had us astray among the stars with space themed games and the bird’s eye picture that the maze created. The spacious area also includes four different paint ball fields, moon bounces, and freshly picked fall produce for sale.

Salisbury Zoo

While we’ve typically enjoyed the Night at the Living Zoo in years past, this year the Salisbury Zoo is shaking things up a bit, with the debut of Halloween Happenings, an event geared towards a younger crowd. Halloween Happenings allows children 10 years and younger to trick-or-treat among the animals. There are also Halloween games and a costume contest.
