Holiday Park Campground
Greensboro, Maryland

Camping on the Choptank sounds like a great idea to us! Plenty of boating and swimming opportunities are right at our tent’s front door, plus scenic views over the campfire. But there are also more activities to take part in not surrounded by the natural environment. Try your hand at the tennis courts, on the mini golf course, take a dive in the pool, or just chill in the game room!
Tuckahoe State Park
13070 Crouse Mill Rd, Queen Anne, MD 21657

For a historical camp out, stake your spot along the same creek that Frederick Douglas grew up on. The Tuckahoe runs straight through the park and a 60-acre lake also provides an outlet for water sports. If walking among the trees is more of your thing, take a stroll through Adkins Arboretum, a 500-acre forest of protected trees. There are also 20 miles of other hiking, biking and equestrian trails.
Frontier Town
8430 Stephen Decatur Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842
410-641-0880
An iconic Ocean City attraction, Frontier Town has made a name for itself not only as a great camping spot but as an entertainment hub. We all know that cowboys and other cow-poke on the prairie camped out under the stars, so why not surround ourselves in the same atmosphere at Frontier Town’s Western Theme Park. And while you are there, splash around at Frontier Town’s free waterpark!
Assateague State Park
