Mark your calendar for this Sunday, June 19th, for a one of a kind Salt Marsh Sunset/Moonrise tour to benefit the Delaware Audubon Society. The kayak tour, hosted by Coastal Kayak in Fenwick Island, Delaware, will feature a twilight paddle through the salt marshes of the Rehoboth Bay (on the eve of the full moon). Participants will be treated to all the splendor of the salt marsh at sunset – teaming with osprey, blue heron & oyster catchers, as well as the annual spawning cycle of the horseshoe crab.
The Delaware Audubon Society is dedicated to developing a better appreciation of our natural resources and works to protect our native species and their habitats. Space is limited and advanced reservations are required. The Sunset/Moonrise tour is scheduled for Sunday, June 19th, from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.
