Fall Restaurant Week returns to Ocean City, MD from October 9th to the 23rd and we could not be more excited! If you’ve been dying to try some new spots in Ocean City, this event is the perfect time to make it happen. Local restaurants release special menus just for the event and many of them offer fixed price options ranging from $10 to $40. Ocean City Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to jump from restaurant to restaurant trying something different each time; OR since the event spans two weeks, you can go somewhere different every night!
We’ve compiled a list of just some of the specials that await you during Ocean City Restaurant Week here:
The Original Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille
116th Street & Coastal Hwy Ocean City MD 21842
The Original Greene Turtle is serving up some of their original favorites like:
Crab Pretzels – Three soft pretzel sticks with Crab Dip spread over them and baked. Pair them with a 16 oz. Shell Raiser draft made exclusively for The Greene Turtle by Heavy Seas Brewery and you have the perfect combination! $12.99
Hand Breaded Fish Tenders – Tilapia hand dipped in a Yuengling Lager beer batter, fried to a golden brown and seasoned with Old Bay. Served with fries, power slaw and a homemade tartar sauce. Pair those with a 20 oz. Guinness draft for an old world pub experience! $14.99
Longboard Café
6701 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842
Longboard Café will be offering a two courses for $12 lunch special and three courses for $30 dinner menu for the promotion. Lunch guests can choose their choice of soups to start (we’re not sure what ‘Asparagus Addiction’ soup is but we’re going to have to give that a try!) and a second course of their choice of items like Brie, Pear & Prosciutto Flatbread, Day-After-Thanksgiving Sandwich, Jerk Mahi Tacos, and other delicious items. Dinner guests can start off with their choice of soup or salad. The Autumn Salad with arugula, goat cheese, apples, candied pecans, maple & apple cider vinaigrette is especially seasonal! For the next course, guests can choose from entrees like Coffee Rubbed Rib Eye and Saffron Risotto with seared scallops, wild mushrooms, and scallions. Then, top it all off with your choice of dessert: Fatal Brownie, cinnamon toast bread pudding with caramel sauce, Pumpkin Gooey Bar, or the cheesecake of the day. We’re not sure how we’re supposed to choose just one of those!
The Shark on the Harbor
12924 Sunset Ave. Ocean City MD 21842
For The Shark on the Harbor, owner, Jody Wright, tells us, “just as with normal operation, we write our Restaurant Week menu daily, based on what’s fresh, available and delicious.” The Shark will offer a dinner service of three courses for $30. Their Restaurant Week menu will offer guests their choice of a starter (typically a choice of a soup or salad), an entree (selections include some seafood and some non-seafood options), and a dessert selection (usually they offer a choice of two different desserts per evening).
Jody told us that they will post their daily Restaurant Week menu online at http://ocshark.com/.
The Shark will participate in the Restaurant Week festivities on the following days:
- Sunday, 10/9 through Thursday, 10/13
- Sunday, 10/16 through Thursday, 10/20
- Sunday, 10/23
We can’t wait to see what delicious items The Shark will come up with!
Culture / Authentic Eatery
12507 Sunset Ave Unit #19 Ocean City MD 21842
Culture will be participating for all dates of the Restaurant Week promotion, with the exception of the days they are closed (off-season hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 11am – 9pm / closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
Culture’s Restaurant Week offerings are available for lunch and dinner, for both dine-in and carry out. Culture will offer a three-course menu during Restaurant Week for only $15! Guests can choose one entree, one side, and one sweet finish. For their entree, guests can choose from fall favorites such as Belizean Chicken Stew, Veggie Rice Bowls, and Coconut Shrimp Tacos paired with sides like savory chayote squash pudding or Belizean style rice and beans. Us? We’re really looking forward to choosing between the tres leches cake and spiced Mexican chocolate cake! This is only the tip of the Culture iceberg so make sure to check them out during Restaurant Week for their full menu.
