Attention ShoreBread readers: dig out your pirate swords and fire up those princess wands because we have some news for you! The Get Well Gabby Foundation is hosting a fun-draising event at Bethany Blues in Bethany Beach, DE on Saturday, March 4th: their 2nd annual Princesses, Pirates, and Pancakes Breakfast.

Bethany Blues will be serving up a breakfast buffet fit for a king (or princess). Offering pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, juices, and coffee. Princesses and Pirates will be making their rounds throughout breakfast. Carolynn Vogel, Gabby’s mother and President and Co-Founder of the Get Well Gabby Foundation, told us that Bethany Blues is donating quite a bit to the event and, for that, they are very thankful. Carolynn also told us that REALTOR®, Courtney Veirs, has signed on as their first gold sponsor.

After breakfast, little princesses and pirates can join the activity area. The activities include various sorts of games and crafts like: a treasure dig game, a bean bag toss, decorate your own wand and sword area, just to name a few. Does that little princess or pirate in your life just LOVE seeing fellow pirates and princesses in person? Well, the Get Well Gabby Foundation is also offering a very limited number of Magical Dining Packages. The Magical Dining Package includes breakfast in a private dining room, your breakfast buffet, a meet and greet with the pirates and princesses themselves, a photo package, and a tiara and wand or sword and eye patch so your little one can fit right in.

The Princesses, Pirates, and Pancakes Breakfast event will offer three seating times: 8 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11 AM. Pre-ordered tickets are available for $15 adults (13 and up), $10 children (2-12) and children under 2 are free. Magical Dining Package tickets are very limited per seating and are available for $25 adults (13 and up) and $20 children (2-12).

Proceeds from the event will go towards The Get Well Gabby Foundation and the fight against pediatric cancer. With the help of the community and individual donors, we have been able to donate over $200,000 to hospitals and individual families to help children with cancer to Get Well. We can’t say enough what a great cause this is and tickets can be purchased here on the Get Well Gabby website.
