The popularity of devoting one day a month to celebrate and promote downtown areas has become very popular across the Eastern Shore. Events like Berlin’s 2nd Friday, Pocomoke’s 4th Friday, and Salisbury’s 3rd Friday have been successful at making downtown areas fun and trendy. We’re excited to see that Crisfield is adding their 4th Saturday Bay Stroll to the list! The event will be held at the depot dock in Crisfield, located at the end of West Main Street. 4th Saturday Bay Strolls will give people a chance to shop from local artists and crafters, visit unique shops, enjoy a delicious meal at one of Crisfield’s restaurants, listen to live music and become part of the community. The event will be held May – October from 4 – 7pm.
Saturday, May 27th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm is the inaugural event. We don’t want to miss the opportunity to be involved in the start of what is sure to be a successful recurring event. Kaleb Brown will be playing reggae music at the dock to set the scene. Kids can also play the Passport to Crisfield game for a chance to win prizes. While browsing the vendors and shops, keep your eye out for a gift for dad! Father’s Day is just weeks away, and nothing is better than a unique and thoughtful gift. After the event we have our eye on a treat from the Ice Cream Gallery, enjoyed while watching the sun set over the bay.
Parking for the event is available along the street or in the city lot between North 10th and North 11th Street (accessed via Broad Street). If you’d like to set up a booth to showcase or sell your work, or be considered as an entertainment act for future events visit the 4th Saturday Bay Strolls website.
