The 3rd Annual Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival hosted by the Trap Pond Partners is scheduled to kick off this Saturday, September 23rd! Hosted by Trap Pond Partners and Lakeshore Wine & Spirits, this event will take place at the Nature Center located in Trap Pond State Park from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. All profits raised from this event will go towards the building of a new playground in the campground. This event is for adults 21 years or older. The event hosts kindly ask that attendees not bring children or pets with them to this event, but do bring your ID.
Beer, wine and spirits vendors include RAR Brewing, Mispillion River Brewing Co., Evolution, Harvest Ridge Winery, Boordy Wineries, Dogfish Head Distilling and more! Guests will also be treated to live entertainment by Charlie & The Cool Tones. Plenty of food vendors will also be on hand to ensure that no one leaves hungry. Just a few of the vendors you will find include Abbott’s Grille, Po Boys Creole Food Truck, and Back Yard Louie BBQ. Additionally, various craft merchants and artists will have tents and booths throughout the event with great products on display.
The weather forecast looks great for this rain or shine event, predicting a partly cloudy sky with a high of 80 degrees. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $30.00 for alcohol sampling or $5.00 for non-drinkers.
