On Saturday, February 9 & Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 10am–4pm, the Rehoboth Art League will host their Jewelry Trunk Show, A Juried Members’ Showcase. The Art League will showcase a wide variety of fine art jewelry available for purchase during this two-day event. If you love unique jewelry styles, this event is for you!
This select group of artisans will representing some of the most unique and talented in the region. They will be present to discuss the inspirations behind their works and the processes used in creating them. Over a dozen jewelers will be set up both days throughout the Corkran, Tubbs, and Ventures Galleries on RAL’s historic Henlopen Acres campus.
This years’ jurors are jewelers Aimee Petkus and Kaitlyn Evans. Ms. Petkus received a BS in Natural Resources with a Concentration in Geology and Commercial Recreation & Tourism from Colorado State University and a BFA in Metals and Jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Kaitlyn Evans earned a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the University of Pennsylvania, Millersville and a MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. She has been fabricating these and other objects since starting her metalsmithing career in 2006.
Participating jewelers include: Joan Danoff, Joanne DeFiore, Susan Donohoe, Caroline Downes, Gail Gingrich, Wanda Gohler, Tracey Harrell, Alison Jefferies, Marilyn Nugent, Tonya Perri, Lois Porterfield, Michele Ross, Marilee Taussig, Stephen Tindall, & Richelle Walk.

This event is free and open to the public. Also, on display in the Step Up Gallery is our Members’ Sales Exhibition, showcasing an eclectic collection of fine art and crafts by RAL Member Artists.
