Calling all hunters and conservationists on the Eastern Shore! The Delmarva Discovery Museum will present the 3rd Annual Delmarva Heritage Days the weekend of March 30.

The Annual celebration brings light to Delmarva’s rich decoy carving heritage and its unique hunting traditions. You’ll have the chance to meet with Blue Ribbon artists such as Grayson Chesser, Rich Smoker, Don Briddell, and others! These carvers are well known for both their artistic skills and inspirational hunting stories. Along with the carving artists, a passionate conservationist will tell the story of his experience as a hunting guide.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 30, from 10 am-4 pm and Sunday, March 31, from noon-4 pm at the Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum in Pocomoke. The Discovery Center is a living museum, a place for learning and discovery for visitors of all ages.

Love to collect decoy carvings and art? You’re in luck! Add to your collections from featured carvers and tailgate vendors.

The Chincoteague Museum, Barrier Island Center, and Ward Museum will present programs at the annual event. Bring the kids! Enjoy youth activities like Silhouette painting and a Youth Turkey Shoot.

Indulge in Oyster sandwiches from the Rotary Club, and enjoy a weekend with the whole family. Appreciate the art of wood carving, and celebrate Delmarva’s Heritage Days!
