The 3rd Annual Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest will be held on Saturday, November 30 at Epworth UM Church in Rehoboth. The contest runs from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission to the contest is free, but attendees are encouraged to buy tickets to vote for their favorite gingerbread entry in the People’s Choice Fundraiser Vote. Entries will also be evaluated by a panel of judges led by The Rehoboth Foodie, Bob Yesbek. First-place winners in the Judge’s Choice will be awarded cash prizes.

Breakfast with Santa is available from 9:30 to 11 am. Tickets are $5 for children over five, and $7 for adults. A buffet breakfast will be served. Advance tickets may be purchased through eventbrite. Find a link to the tickets on the website or on the Facebook page. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

Other event attractions will include a display of quilts and wall hangings on loan from Ocean Waves Quilt Guild. The Delaware Seaside Railroad Club will provide an interactive train garden with Thomas The Tank Engine.

The Gingerbread Contest and Breakfast with Santa are fundraisers for Christmas Joy 365! The program provides food and gifts at Christmas for about 50 families in the Cape Henlopen School District every year. The local mission also provides year-round financial assistance that pays for personal items such as eyeglasses, diapers, school supplies, and transportation and housing assistance.

The Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest is generously sponsored by Presenting Sponsor, Accent on Travel, CAMP Rehoboth, Coldwell Banker Resort Realty, Cape Gazette, and Snyder’s Candy of Rehoboth.
