Giving Tuesday, also known as #givingtuesday, always falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s a movement that was created in November 2012 as a day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. At a time of the year when we are working steadfastly to find the perfect gifts for those that we love, let’s take a minute to consider the gift of a monetary donation to a local non-profit organization.
We have compiled a list of local non-profit groups and organizations to consider. Unfortunately, there are way too many worthwhile causes to list, but if you need assistance, look no further than the Shore Gives More for a few references. Happy holidays from the ShoreBread crew and happy giving on this #givingtuesday!
