Easy homemade BBQ pork great for summer meals and parties. I like to make in advance and reheat to serve. It’s easier than you think!
Ingredients:
- pork butt (have used several types all work well regardless bone in, boneless and netted I buy what is on sale)
- red pepper flakes, amount depends on taste buds (I use a cap full)
- 1 1/4 cup dry minced onion
- salt and pepper
- teaspoon ground sage
- teaspoon garlic powder
- apple cider vinager about half a cup you want it to almost cover meat
Put the above items in crock pot and cook on low overnight or on high for 5 hours
Once meat is fall apart tender put on cutting board and using two forks pull apart and shred pork.
Place meat in bowl and add to it your favorite BBQ sauce depending on weight of pork usually takes whole bottle or more if you like it more wet.
