Ocean City Jeep week is quickly approaching and who doesn’t love cruising through town in a Jeep? There is nothing quite as liberating as a vehicle with no top and no doors. Ocean City Jeep Week is jam packed with festivities to make the event fun for all involved.
The fun begins on Thursday, August 24th with the Wicked Coastal OC Jeep Week Tiki Fun Party at Coconuts Beach Bar in the Castle in the Sand on 37th Street. The OC Jeep Week Tiki Fun Party kicks off Jeep Week with Wicked Coastal selling Jeep goodies, chances to win prizes, live music, volleyball, and cornhole. The party starts at 6 PM and all ages are welcome!
Then, the main event kicks off on Thursday, August 25th with the beach crawl. If you’ve never experienced the beach crawl, it’s a must see with 250 Jeeps strolling through the sand. Following the beach crawl, CC Customs in Berlin is hosting their Jeep Jam. The Jeep Jam runs all day and features an obstacle course, trail ride, and mud pit for those looking to get a little mud on the tires. Thursday is also the first day the show itself is open to spectators at the Ocean City Convention Center. Come out and tour the indoor vintage Jeep display to learn more about the heritage of the brand, the kids zone will ward off boredom while you look around, and the show and shine is sure to tout some incredible, custom-built Jeeps. After the events, head on over to Fish Tales for their Jeep Week Welcome Party featuring free appetizers and drink specials!
Friday features much of the same; starting the day with the beach crawl followed by the all-day Jeep Jam at CC Customs in Berlin. CC Customs will then be awarding trophies for the show and shine at the Convention Center. The day ends with the Family Fun Mixer at Hooper’s Crab House in West Ocean City. The Family Fun Mixer features a buffet dinner, live acoustic entertainment, and raffles. This event will definitely be fun for the whole family.
Start Saturday with another morning Jeep beach crawl and then make your way over to the Convention Center for day three of the Jeep Show. End your Jeep day at CC Customs in Berlin for their King of the Pit event; we promise it won’t disappoint. After that, end the night with a visit to the Ropewalk After Party on 82nd Street.
End your weekend on Sunday with a trip to Eastern Shore Jeep Association’s land in Delmar, DE and the Tailgate Send Off at Berlin Jeep. Try not to be sad that it’s over. They’ll be back next year!
