National Air Tour of Historic WWII Aircraft Comes to SBY Regional Airport
The B-29 Superfortress FIFI, B-24 Liberator Diamond Lil, and PT Stearman are landing at the SBY Regional Airport in Salisbury, Maryland for the AirPower History Tour this June! Head out to the Salisbury Airport June 3-5 to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the historic WWII aircraft. Get up close and personal with the crafts, tour the cockpit, chat with the crews, and see the planes fly. Even book a flight for a trip in the sky on one of these historic planes!
Schedule of AirPower History Tour
The History Tour runs Monday 2-5pm, Tuesday 9am-5pm, and Wednesday 9am-5pm. Aircraft Tours are available Monday, starting at 2pm, Tuesday, starting at 9am, and Wednesday, starting at 12pm.
B-29 Superfortress FIFI
WWII’s premiere bomber, B-29 Superfortress FIFI, is the world’s most famous flying B-29. Take a tour of the cockpit, or purchase tickets to book your ride! Ride times are Wednesday 9am and 10:30am. The plane can seat up to 10 passengers, five cockpit seats and five tail seats.
B-24 Liberator Diamond Lil
Over 18,000 Liberators were built over the years, and today, only two remain. Book your seat on the flight to go up in the sky on this historical Liberator. Ride times are Wednesday 9:30am and 11am. The plane seats up to 10, and once you are up in the air, feel free to move around as you please.
PT-13 Stearman
This open-cockpit Biplane trained more crews than any other aircraft during WWII. There are various ride times available throughout the day, but keep in mind: The plan only seats one passenger, so book your ride in advance!

Commemorative Air Force
The CAF AirPower History Tour is produced and executed by the B-29/B-24 Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force. About 10,000 members across the world make up the Commemorative Air Force organization, which started about 50 years ago. Members dedicate themselves to preserving the aircraft and educating the younger generations.
