If you spend any time at all around children, then you have probably heard ‘Let It Go’ at least one hundred times and watched Frozen no less than a dozen. To say the Disney movie is popular would be a major understatement. For those of you not around children, it’s best compared to the Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, or Little Mermaid phenomenon of the 90s. Local businesses are joining in on the fun this month, offering Frozen-themed events for families to participate in. With the weather being as abysmal as it is this time of year, it’s always nice to find fun, indoor activities for kids to enjoy.

Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services

Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services (WYFCS) in Berlin, MD is holding a Frozen-themed event for a terrific cause on January 30, in an effort to raise funding to benefit the Berlin Youth Club Summer Program. On January 30, from 5pm until 7:30pm, guests are invited to the Ray Community Room at Worcester Youth and Family Services on Main Street in Berlin, MD. The evening is for children ages 3-10 and will include games, singing, crafts, hair, makeup, snacks, and lots of Frozen fun! Tickets can be purchased ahead of time through WYFCS for $15 or at the door for $20. All proceeds will go to the Berlin Youth Club Summer Program. The Berlin Youth Club is a program with  WFYCS that is designed to offer cultural, educational and wellness experiences to children in the Town of Berlin during the summer months away from school.
