LastPass is a password manager that makes web browsing easier and more secure.

– It’s easier
– Never forget a password again and log into your sites with a single mouse click.

– It’s everywhere
– Automatically synchronizes your data; access it from anywhere at any time.

– It’s safer
– Protect yourself against phishing scams, online fraud, and malware.

– It’s secure
– All of your data is encrypted locally on your PC – only you can unlock it.

– It’s free
– No catches or gimmicks – It’s free to use on all your computers.

– It’s multi-platform
– Using a Mac, Windows, or Linux? LastPass works everywhere.

During installation you’ll create a strong master password to protect all of your other passwords – marketed as ‘the last password you’ll ever need’. The installer locates password data store on your browser, deleted insecure original passwords, and then sets the master password in place. One Time Passwords, Screen Keyboard, Google Authenticator and Grid multi-factor help protect your account.

LastPass captures most log-ins in fully automatic mode. For those occasional sites that stray from the norm, it offers the option to save data from all fields. You can also log in to your online LastPass Vault to access and organize saved items.

LastPass allows you to access any of your sites from any computer or device. LastPass automatically imports passwords stored in your browser so that you don’t have to do it. New passwords for recently visited sites will be automatically created. Groups can be set for categories like finance, shopping, bills, etc.

It’s free to download LastPass, and $1/month, billed annually to become a premium user.

If you want to make life a little simpler, you’ve ‘gotta have LastPass.
