Looking for a special stocking stuffer for your loved one this year? Beginning Black, Friday, November 23rd, tickets will be on sale for Foreigner and Beatlemania Again – both of which will headline the entertainment at Springfest 2013.

Foreigner, a British-American band formed in 1976 by Englishman, Mick Jones in New York City, will take the stage at 8 pm. on Saturday, May 4th.  Their debut album, “Foreigner” sold over four million copies and produced such hits as “Feels Like the First Time” and “Cold As Ice.” Throughout the 1970’s they had continued hits with “Double Vision,” “Head Games” and “Hot Blooded.” In the ‘80s, Foreigner continued to dominate the charts with songs “Waiting for a Girl Like you,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent” and “I Want To Know What Love Is.”
With a career spanning over thirty years, Foreigner continues to tour and release new music. Foreigner has had 16 Top 30 hits and sold more than 70 million albums. The album, “Foreigner 4” spent more weeks at #1 on the Billboard chart than any other artist in Atlantic Records history, including Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Their music continues to get airplay on popular and classic rock radio. Tickets are $27 to $59.
Also at Springfest, Beatlemania Again will perform at 7 pm on Thursday, May 2nd.  This fabulous journey back in time is a performance every fan of music must see.  Their performance chronologically traces the Beatles from their debut on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, to the psychedelic Sgt. Pepper era, to the final years of Abbey Road and Let It Be.  It’s a performance that any fan of music must see and provides the audience with a fabulous journey back in time. For only $5 to $10, you can relive the music; the magic and the mania of the Beatles live on stage.
Tickets for both shows will be on sale at the Ocean City Convention Center Box Office on 40th Street.  Box office hours are 8 am. to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Tickets can also be purchased at TicketMaster or by calling 800-551-7328.
Ocean City celebrates the start of the season with the 23rd Annual Springfest, the four-day festival filled with arts and crafts, live entertainment and delicious food all at the Inlet Lot and beach May 2nd –5th, 2013. Admission to Springfest is free.
