The Salisbury Zoo is abuzz with holiday happenings this month. Come join in the fun at the Annual Zoo Clean-up and the Critter Christmas while giving your season’s greetings to all of your favorite critters.

December 7; 9am to 12pm – Zoo Clean-Up

Take a tour of the Salisbury Zoo while doing your part in keeping it clean. With all of the fall leaves on the ground, the annual fall clean-up is an important part in keeping our local zoo clean and healthy for wildlife. This Saturday, come dressed in old clothes and ready to work. If you have them, bring a rake and gloves to help with the leaf removal. The Zoo provides so much  for our community, why not give back by lending a helping hand this holiday season.

December 14, 1pm to 4pm – Critter Christmas

Celebrate the holidays at the Salisbury Zoo next weekend with the zoo’s Critter Christmas. Enjoy decorating your own ginger bread cookies, tree ornaments and make presents for the animals that live in your own backyard. Say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Claus to make sure they have everything on your wish list. While you are roaming the zoo, be sure to stop by and watch holiday performances on the stage, as well as Christmas carols sung by local school children.

Spending an afternoon at the Salisbury Zoo is a great family activity, particularly during the holiday season.
