Recent outings in Salisbury have found us frequenting a few of our favorite restaurants and bars in the area, including Brew River, which has a notable amount of specials happening right now.  Daily happy hour deals, half-priced prime rib nights and Valentine’s Day specials are just a few of the reasons to head to Brew River this month, so keep reading for more…

Valentine’s Day is just a few days away, and if you’re still looking for a date night option, Brew River has you covered with a full menu available for you and your sweetie. For those of you interested in celebrating the day of love with the whole family, head into Brew River Friday for the Bring Your Lil’ Valentine event. Simply mention the Facebook ad featuring the special and get half-off your little ones lunch or dinner. “That way the parents can have a Valentine’s Day celebration and be with their family at the same time,” explained Service Manager Traci Huggans.

As for the rest of the week, there are specials for all ages, every night. We’ll start with Monday night Poker League, with happy hour food and drink specials, along with gift certificates for the top three winners. Monday nights also means $2 fish tacos, available all day in the bar area. Tuesday and Wednesday nights bring the biggest dinner crowds, with Brew River’s half-priced prime rib night. “I don’t really know a place where you can get a half-price prime rib at that price,” said Huggans, adding that the prime rib night was so popular that they had to expand the deal to two nights instead of just one. Tuesday night also gives you the chance to nab a craft beer and burger combo for just $9.99 at the bar.  Thursday nights feature 2-for-1 crab cakes, which means you’ll score two crab cakes with two sides and an assortment of breads and muffins for $16.99.

By the time the weekend rolls around, Brew River is ready to help you unwind, with live entertainment and more. Every third Friday of the month is Country Night at Brew River, coinciding with the 3rd Friday Arts Night in downtown Salisbury. Enjoy the art stroll and then head over to Brew for some country music and a ride on the mechanical bull. Every Friday, stop in for late night happy hour specials starting at 9pm. Each week, Saturday night is Ladies Night, which includes a DJ dance party with DJ Rob Cee starting at 10pm, $2.50 Coors Light Drafts, $3 rails and no cover. By Sunday, the only thing you’re probably thinking about is brunch (because it sure is our favorite part of Sunday funday). New to the Sunday brunch line-up is the $9.99 chicken and waffles special, perfect for Sunday morning comfort food.

As if those weren’t enough reasons for us to frequent Brew River this month, Huggans filled us in on FeBREWary. All month long, a variety of $4 craft beers will be available at the bar. Or opt for 4, 4-ounce tasters for just $10 (available at tables as well). “A lot of people like that they can come here and sample area brews and find out what they like instead of having to travel to each brewery,” said Huggans, noting the 33 different beers available on tap, many of which are local brews. “It’s always changing.”

With all the events and specials happening at Brew River this month, its no wonder we keep finding ourselves migrating to Salisbury.
