Did you know that the daffodil is Somerset County’s official flower? Neither did we, but we’re not missing out on this event. We plan on walking around all of the beautiful arrangements and blooms while taking part in the other activities throughout the day.

Bay Bridge Boat Show

There’s nothing quite like boating; whether we’re out on the water floating and bobbing in the waves or sailing over the water at soaring speeds, we love being able to spend an a few hours or an entire weekend on the water. So its no surprise then that we plan on heading to Kent County to the Bay Bridge Boat Show to brush up on our boating skills. You can also learn about boat maintenance and eco-friendly boating options while there.

The Great Clue Caper

Let’s go hunting for help! The Great Clue Caper is a scavenger hunt fundraiser for the Village of Hope transitional home for women and children on the Lower Eastern Shore. This organization helps women and children who have escaped abusive relationships or other adverse conditions while they rebuild their lives. By taking part in the fun scavenger hunt and traveling all over Wicomico County you can aid those in our community who need our help. Make sure to register by April 6!

31st Salisbury Festival

This is one event that is packed with activities for everyone. Celebrate the spirit of Salisbury with live music and entertainment, a block party, craft beer tasting and a classic car show. Whoo! That’s a lot to do in one day, we’ll have to attend for more than one day!

Wine Fest at St. Michaels

April 26 & 27 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.  

Walk around one of our favorite spots, St. Michaels, but with a wine goblet in your hand. This street scape event will have many of St. Michaels’ quaint stores open for shopping along with samples of National, International and Maryland wines. There are also special VIP events such as a trip down the beautiful Miles River.
