If you’ve been on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram at all this week, then you’ve noticed a significant spike in Ravens pride. That’s because the Ravens are facing off against the Patriots Saturday at 4:35. It’s no secret that we are Ravens fans here at ShoreBread, so you can bet we will be planning our entire Saturday around game time, with an intense focus on deciding just where to watch the game. To make it a little easier on us (and you) we decided to round up our favorite football-watching spots on Delmarva. Who knows, you may bump into us on Saturday! But beware; excessive cheering will be in full force.

Pizza Tugos in West Ocean City has been a ShoreBread favorite for some time now. For starters, it’s right down the road from our headquarters. But beyond the convenience factor, there are many, many reasons to make Pizza Tugos your go-to spot for NFL playoff games. For starters, their beer selection is unparalleled. Craft beer flows heavily here, with big selections on drafts and bottles. Next up? The televisions. The flat screen HDTVs can be seen from any seat in the house, including the dining room tables. Finally…the food. Of course we love the pizza here but there’s also an entire menu of football-friendly foods to munch on, including wings, mozzarella sticks, massive subs, hearty pastas and more.

Dead Freddies Island Grill proudly supports the Baltimore Ravens, so of course we love coming here for Ravens games. An added bonus is the amount of TVs. Seriously, they are everywhere. Add in the great food, chef’s specials, cold beer, mixed drinks, spectacular views… did we mention they are Ravens fans;) Playoff snacks include crab fritters, fried mozzarella, wings (go for the buttered Old Bay wings), and Freddies Fries – an irresistible mound of fries, melted cheddar, bacon, scallions and ranch dressing. Yes, it’s OK to drool.

With the game set to play in Morley Hall on the 13’x26’ BIG screen and on all of their 15 HDTVs(not to mention the stadium sound), Seacrets is definitely an ideal place to be at game time. The bar will open at 3, with Purple Pains flowing for just $5.50. DJ Bobby’D will be playing during commercial breaks with Ravens trivia and prizes. Stick around after the game too for more specials, music, food, dancing, celebrating (fingers crossed) and more!

Brew River proudly touts themselves as ‘your home for the NFL playoffs,’ and after spending a few Sundays there this fall, we have to agree. Drink specials abound, along with free jersey raffles and giveaways. The Game Day menu never disappoints, and the expansive waterfront view is an added bonus. For the craft beer lover, there are almost too many to choose from, including all of your local favorites.

We’ve spent countless hours at Pickles Pub in downtown OC cheering on our Ravens, after all, Pickles is a Ravens bar through and through. You can bet they will be in high spirits come Saturday, as the game hits the big screen and all of the HDTVs. You can also count on plenty of game day specials on food and drinks. Some of our favorite menu items are the fried pickles (of course), the crabby tater tots, bacon cheese fries, and the sliders. Don’t forget to throw in a few pickle shots for good measure!

In Bethany, Bethany Blues has all of your football needs covered. We’ll start with the catering menu. There are a variety of packages to choose from for catering, each as mouthwatering as the next. Or opt for the ‘Eat at our Place’ option and reserve a private space for your group. For the more informal party at home, there are also appetizers, hot platters and cold platters to choose from including deli salad platters, BBQ mini meatball platters, artisanal cheese boards, wings, deviled eggs and more. Stoked was proudly bleeding purple last weekend as the Ravens battled it out against their bitter rivals, the Steelers, with Ravens themed cocktails and delicious specials. We expect the same level of game day revelry this week as Joe Flacco goes head to head against Tom Brady. Two of our favorite football foods are pizza and wings, and boy does Stoked now how to do both. We’ll start with the wings. The list of sauce options is seemingly endless, including bourbon, black pepper & Parmesan, Old Bay, Srirachi & honey, Buffalo and 5 alarm. Some the more intriguing options are the peanut butter & jelly (Thai peanut curry sauce paired with blackberry gastrique) and waffle (Belgium on the Shore with spicy maple syrup). The pizzas range from traditional to creative as well. We’ve got our eye on the Oyster Rockefeller pizza, topped with flash fried oysters, spinach, bacon, garlic, Parmesan cream sauce and a BBQ drizzle.

Jake’s is hailed as the ‘club level of local NFL hangouts’ and we didn’t have to look much further than their tailgate menu to agree. Prime rib grilled cheese, five varieties of sliders, $3.99 snacks, crab pretzel, and nachos are just a few of the options, not to mention the drink specials. With two Rehoboth locations, Jake’s will be doubling up on game day fun. And don’t forget about the 2nd Annual Best Wings on the Shore Contest at Jake’s on Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. Hosted by Ocean 98.1, you’ll be able to sample and judge for the hottest, most creative, and best overall wings on the shore!
