We’ve given a fair amount of coverage to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and post-parade festivities happening in Ocean City this weekend, but if you aren’t going to be in OCMD this weekend, there are still plenty of St. Paddy’s Day events happening across Delmarva, including in Cambridge, Salisbury and Lewes.

Cape May Lewes Ferry Presents Ferry Go Bragh

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is featuring a special ‘Ferry Go Bragh’ special this weekend, starting Friday, March 13 and continuing through St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17. The St. Paddy’s Day package includes a 15% discounted trip (one-way or round trip) across the Delaware Bay. The package also includes a glass of your choice of available beer of hard cider, along with a box of Irish Potato Candies courtesy of Laura’s Fudge of Wildwood, NJ. Shamrock Shootout at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center

Teams will compete for cash prizes of up to $500 this Saturday at the Shamrock Shootout Cornhole Tournament at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center’s Midway Room. The event is open to all ages (21 and over can BYOB) and starts at 1pm. Game play will include double elimination, with matches being the best of three. Entry is $50 per team – teams can register online at www.wicomicoRecandParks.org. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Stay Ready Riderz Bike Club and the Wicomico Friends of Recreation & Parks’ Tomorrow Fund.

The Irish Penny

It should come as no surprise that The Irish Penny in Salisbury is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day over a span of four days, after all, they are an Irish pub and grill! Expect live Irish music and pub sessions, Gus the Bardic Troubador, a Waking on St. Patrick’s Day (7pm), and tons of food and drink specials each day. Live music events include Alex & Shiloh, The Permilla Project, Delmarva Emerald Society, Pipes & Drums, Live Irish Pub Sessions, and Mickey Justice.

What better way to start your St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans than with a parade of bagpipes?! The fun starts at Market Street Inn at noon on Saturday and continues on to Cellar Door, Roadie Joes, Echelon, and finally, MoJos. Cambridge Main Street Celebration

Cambridge is coinciding their Second Saturday celebration with their St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 14th, which means double the fun for visitors to Downtown Cambridge! The fun started last weekend with Paddy in the Alley, and will continue this weekend with giveaways, art events, and more.
