With the kickoff for the White Marlin Open just days away…the Town of Ocean City is once again gearing up for the World’s Largest Bill Fish Tournament. One of the biggest challenges for the world class event has always been parking…and getting spectators to Harbor Island for the festivities.
To make the process a little easier, city officials are once again offering an express shuttle serves to and from the Convention Center parking lot on 40th Street to the tournament grounds. The shuttle will run from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. beginning Monday, August 8 through Friday, August 12th. It will pick-up and drop off passengers in the south Convention Center parking lot to or from Jacqueline Avenue at 14th Street.
The frequency of service will be approximately every 20 minutes. Fare is $3 Ride-All-Day. $3 Ride-All-Day passes are also valid for same day service on Coastal Hwy. and Park N Ride Buses.
This year’s Open will feature over 300 boats and more than 1500 of the world’s best anglers vying for the big prizes. The weigh-ins take place daily from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Harbor Island on 14th Street in Ocean City.
