If you’re an Irish Lad or Lassie, or simply just love celebrating the Celtic holiday, join Ocean City and the Delmarva Irish-American Club for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 11th!
The parade will kick-off at 11 a.m. starting on 57th Street and will march down to 47th Street where the viewing and judging will be held. There are plenty of trophies that will be awarded to participants such as best marching band, best commercial float, best non-commercial float, judge’s choice award and even the best overall entry in the parade.
This Ocean City tradition will be celebrating its 37th year which has grown to become the second largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Maryland. Not only is it one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day Parades but many local business will be opening for the season!
If you’re looking for a post-parade celebration, the 45th Street shopping center will transform into a green glowing Irish festival that will incorporate live entertainment from Pat O’Brennan, Irish apparel and plenty of Irish food and drinks! This free St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Ocean City, MD will start at 11 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
If you are planning to attend Ocean City’s favorite St. Patrick’s Day Parade, attendees are encouraged to arrive before 10:30 a.m. to avoid traffic delays. Can’t make it to OC?
