Tacos, tequila, and margaritas, oh my! It’s no mystery that the ShoreBread team loves good food and good drinks. So, when we get to combine our love for margaritas with a night when it’s socially acceptable to eat too many tacos, you can guarantee that we’ll be there with bells on! Also, lucky for us, our favorite tequila and taco holiday just happens to fall on a Friday this year (no feeling guilty about having a queso hangover the next day at work). Guidos Burritos, Ocean City, MD
With a name like Guidos Burritos, you may have guessed that this popular spot would take the Cinco de Mayo holiday seriously. Guidos Burritos in Ocean City, MD will be featuring food, drink, and live music all day to help you get in a festive mood! Enjoy $5 margaritas, $3.50 craft beers, $3 Coronas, or $3 tequila shots all day and celebrate into the evening with DJ Crop Top from 3 PM to 6 PM and DJ Papi Roisterous from 9 PM to 2 AM.
Fager’s Island, Ocean City, MD
Looking for something to do after you’ve filled up on margaritas and tacos? Head on over to Fager’s Island in Ocean City, MD for DJ RobCee and jerX. DJ RobCee likes to mix it up with EDM, hip hop, top 40 songs, reggae, and classics so you never know what you’re going to get and he’s sure to keep your whole group happy. Afterwards, stay around for jerX, a female-fronted cover band from Northern Virginia.
Sunset Grille, West Ocean City, MD
In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Sunset Grille in West Ocean City is having a special three-course dinner for only $15.99! Guests will have their choice of special soup and dip offerings first. Next, select a second course of a chopped salad, chipotle buffalo chicken wings, or shrimp ceviche. Finally, pick an entree from their list of tacos, tostados, quesadillas, or burritos. With so many great choices, there is no way you’re leaving here hungry. Sunset Grille will also be offering beer and margarita specials.
Agave Azul Mexican Cuisine & Tequila Bar, Salisbury, MD
Agave Azul is one of the newer Mexican restaurants in Salisbury, MD and they will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo from 11 AM to 11 PM. Featuring special food items like tacos de la calle and tacos michael for only $11.99, 20 oz. margaritas for only $6, and bottled beers for only $3, you’re sure to leave full and happy. Stick around after dinner for live music from 5 PM to 9 PM.
Brew River Restaurant and Bar, Salisbury, MD
Brew River in Salisbury, MD will be hosting their Cinco de Mayo party from 3 PM to close with $2 draft beers, $3 tequila shots, and $4 margaritas. Celebrate with DJ Adam Dutch Durham from 5 PM to 10 PM and DJ Goni 10 PM to close.
The Greene Turtle, Salisbury, MD
To help you properly celebrate Cinco de Mayo, The Greene Turtle in Salisbury, MD will be featuring their famous nachos for 50% off ALL DAY. Don’t forget to wash those nachos down with some frosty beverages; come in from 3 PM to 6 PM for 2-for-1 drinks. From 6 PM to close, pick from a variety of $4 drinks, like $4 Jose Ritas, $4 Coronas, or $4 Dos XX Lagers.
Lower Shore Land Trust, Snow Hill, MD
If you’re looking for something a little different this Cinco de Mayo, join the Lower Shore Land Trust for their First Friday Cinco de Mayo & Pollinator Festival. In conjunction with Snow Hill’s First Friday activities, the festivities kick off Friday evening by the Pocomoke River in Sturgis Park where visitors can browse and purchase plants. Guests will also enjoy live music and a special food and beverage garden with margaritas, beer, and fajitas! Come back on Saturday to shop for over 60 varieties of plants, shrubs, and other vendors.
Que Pasa, Dewey Beach, DE
Que Pasa in Dewey Beach, DE is opening at noon on Friday with happy hour from 4 PM to 7 PM. This spot always has an impressive selection of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Oh, and you HAVE to try their guacamole! Located right on the water in Dewey, come early and stay to watch their gorgeous sunsets.
Big Chill Surf Cantina, Rehoboth Beach, DE
The Big Chill Surf Cantina in Rehoboth is not just having a Cinco de Mayo party, but hosting a 4 day Cinco de Mayo extravaganza! Starting Thursday, Big Chill will be teaming up with Taco Reho for a May the 4th Be With You, Star Wars themed menu. Friday, Big Chill will have live music, drink specials, and giveaways. The festivities run through Sunday when they cap off the weekend with their patio opening party. You can get your tacos and tequila fix all weekend at the Big Chill Surf Cantina!
