When we discovered that October 9th was International Beer and Pizza Day, we made it our mission to let the masses know where this divine combination could be devoured. Hence, the list below of our favorite places for beer and pizza on The Shore was born:

Mr. P Pizza | 1004 Kings Hwy, Lewes, Delaware 19958

Featuring 19 local craft beers on tap and an extensive pizza selection, Mr. P Pizza is a must today! Their pizzas are all handmade, to order, and you can watch them being made and cooked in their wood oven right in front of your eyes. Not only are their regular pizza offerings to die for, but this month’s special pizza of the month is a chicken parm pizza made with breaded chicken, pasta, and boatloads of cheese. You’ll definitely want to check out Mr. P!

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats | 320 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971

With a name like this, it’s a given that this stop will deliver in the beer department. But Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats also delivers in the equally important pizza department. Their wood-fired pizzas are crispy and packed full of flavor. Can’t make it to Dogfish for dinner tonight? No worries! They are continuing the tradition of their “wood-fired nights” even at the new brewpub. Make sure to check them out on Tuesdays and Thursdays for their $8 burgers and pizzas and they’ll also feature a special $10 pizza every Thursday.

Specific Gravity Pizzeria | 105 E College Ave, Salisbury, Maryland 21804

Specific Gravity has the art of specialty pizzas mastered. Our team favorite is The Big MMack topped with ground beef, “special sauce,” pickles, onions, lettuce, and french fries! This might sound crazy but we can’t stop in without ordering this unique pie. Top off your stop with a local brew and you’re good to go! Specific Gravity is often hosting tap takeovers and pint nights with local breweries so they are sure to have a great selection of beers any time!

Pizza Tugos | 9935 Stephen Decatur Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842

Pizza Tugos has three convenient locations in Ocean City, MD so you can always easily feed your pizza cravings, but their West Ocean City location is by far our favorite. Why? They have over 50 craft beers ready and waiting! With quite the selection of craft beers and craft pizzas, you’re sure to find a winning combination. Looking for a good deal? Check them out during any NFL game for all-you-can-eat pizza and wings for only $10.99! All that special is missing is a cold one and they certainly have plenty on tap to fill that void.

Dry Dock 28 | 2709 North Philadelphia Avenue, Ocean City, MD 21842

What is your favorite pizza topping? Are you a seafood fanatic? Do you want all of the meat toppings? Or do you prefer the lighter veggie-only route? Regardless of your preference, Dry Dock 28 has you covered. Their The Casino pizza even features diced clams, bacon, and veggies topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. You have to give this one a try. In addition to their fantastic fare, they also carry a selection of local beers; often featuring local favorites from the likes of RAR and Fin City.

Tall Tales Brewing Company | 6929 Heron Grove Ct, Parsonsburg, Maryland 21849

From the name Tall Tales Brewing Company, you could probably deduct that this spot has beer. Not only do they serve beer, but they make it right here, too. Their awesome outdoor bar features a pizza oven as the focal point. Pro tip: order the crab dip pizza. Unless you have a shellfish allergy, you won’t be disappointed. We also love their dog-friendly patio space on nice nights.

Alright, so now you’re well-versed on the art of pizza and beer on Delmarva. What’s your first stop? Where is your favorite spot for brews and pizza? We’re always looking to expand our horizons so make sure to share your favorites with us.
