Women Supporting Women is gearing up for their 7th Annual Bras for a Cause event, held at the Centre at Salisbury.
This community and family friendly event invites individuals, groups and businesses to submit creative bra designs. This year’s themes are super heroes and best breast cancer message. Once the creations are submitted they will be on display at the mall for the entire month of May with a grand reveal party on Tuesday, May 1 at 6:00 PM.
Throughout the month, everyone is encouraged to vote in various categories by donating $1.00 per vote. Additionally, a select panel of judges will also rate the submissions according to best super hero themed bra, best use of materials, best overall design, best breast cancer message, and the Centre at Salisbury Choice. Trophies will be awarded in each category.
Women Supporting Women Event Coordinator, Kerrie Bunting and Co-Chair, Alane Emerson are working together to organize the event. “We are really looking forward to making this year’s event bigger and better since it is our 25th Anniversary and hope to have some really fantastic submissions,“ says Bunting. We encourage past participants as well as new comers to submit their bras to the WSW office by April 23, 2018 by 4:00 PM.
