Does craft beer make your heart hoppy? If so then be sure to mark your calendars for this year’s Shore Craft Beer Festival on April 28th from 12:30 to 4:30 pm hosted at the fairgrounds of Chincoteague, Virginia!
This is a family-friendly festival where kids and pets are welcome free of charge! With entertainment provided by Paul Brion’s beach music and Tootsie the Clown there is plenty to keep your little tykes occupied.
The festival offers bottomless tastings of beer from some of the best breweries on the Eastern Shore; some of which include Dogfish Head, Hoop Tea, Third Wave Brewing Co., Evo, Tall Tales, Fin City and many more.
Not to mention, there will be a variety of unique craft vendors to check out as well as food trucks serving up an assortment of local favorites so there will be plenty of munchies to sink your teeth into all day long!
Keeping it local is what this festival is all about, with over a dozen local breweries making this an unrivaled festival, full of local beer, local fare and local crafts and entertainment.
There is no admission fee for the festival, only for those who wish to sample the beer must buy a ticket.
VIP Tickets (12:30pm-4:30pm) and General Admission Tickets (1:30pm-4:30) are available here and include unlimited tastings of beer from over a dozen local craft breweries. Better yet, book a local room for the night and turn the Shore Craft Beer Fest into a mini-staycation! Be sure to arrive early to receive a commemorative glass that will be given to the first 600 guests!
Oh, and the day isn’t done when the festival ends at 4:30 pm. Head over to Ropewalk Chincoteague at the Fairfield Inn and Suites for an after party that is sure to knock your socks off! From 4:40 to 7 pm enjoy happy hour prices with your festival wristband. Plein Air painters will paint throughout the day and you can buy their work at the exclusively at the After Party.
