The stages are nearly set and the town of Berlin, MD is making final preparations for an event perfect for men and women, adults and children: the 11th Annual Jazz & Blues Bash. From 10:00 am until the early evening on Saturday, May 5th, the sounds of drums, brass, and guitars will fill the streets of downtown Berlin.

In celebration of Berlin’s 150th Anniversary, the live entertainment roster will include a diverse assortment of traditional Jazz & Blues performers. With such a full list of entertainers, the town has planned to utilize two stages that will be set on opposite ends of Main Street so that event attendees can enjoy a little bit of everything. Beer and wine vendors will also be on hand to provide local beverages throughout the day. Festival attendees should also plan to enjoy delicious food throughout the day. With so many restaurants and eateries located right in downtown Berlin to choose from, in addition to several street vendors that will be on hand, festival attendees are sure to not leave hungry!

But the day doesn’t end at 6pm with the last entertainer on the Main Street Stage. No, the party continues at The Globe Theatre with live entertainment by The Nighthawks and a friendly crowd surrounding the Coppertop Bar. All entertainment is free and tickets are still on sale for the After Party. Seating will also be limited, so be sure to bring your favorite lawn chair for maximum comfort.
