During this time of year, our senses can really invoke the nostalgia of the holidays. Catch the faint scent of peppermint and you are quickly transported to Christmas parades and “Jolly Old St. Nick” playing on the radio. Use a little extra cinnamon and nutmeg in your recipes to really conjure up memories of cooking with your family and that first bite of pumpkin pie. When choosing your tree, make sure to touch the needles to ensure that decorating the tree is painless and bonus, you get to carry that sweet scent of pine with you for a little while longer. Through the combined efforts of VisitDelaware.com and Schell Brothers, Delaware’s biggest holiday fundraising event is open for business and ready to delight spectators, old and young. Such venues include a Christmas Village, Ice Skating Rink, and the Light Spectacular. It is absolutely certain that you can visit one or all of these venues for their festive holiday lights, but we chose to focus on the spectacular for this particular piece. The Light Spectacular, that is!

Light Spectacular at Hudson Fields

Drive-Thru Admission Prices:
Cars – $20.00 at Gate / $15.00 Advanced Online (1-7 Passengers)
Vans – $40.00 at Gate / $35.00 Advanced Online (8-15 Passengers)
Busses – $60.00 at Gate/ $55.00 Advanced Online (16+ Passengers)
*Guests driving their vehicle through the Light Spectacular will enter through the North Gate located on Hudson Road.
*Admission includes FREE Christmas Village parking.

$8.00 Per Guest
*Guests arriving for the pre-purchased Hay Rides will enter at the South Gate on Eagle Crest Road.
*Admission includes FREE Christmas Village parking. Please show your hayride ticket to avoid parking fees!

Winterfest of Lights

For our friends down South, another spectacular light display is the 27th Annual Winterfest of Lights in Northside Park, Ocean City MD!
