Looking to spread some holiday cheer with your closest friends and family this season? Check out Winterfest at Barn Hill Preserve! Located in Frankford, Delaware, this family-friendly event is completely outdoors, and in a heated tent with plenty of room to spread out and practice social distancing.
During Winterfest, you’ll be given the chance to interact with the animals of Barn Hill Preserve, including porcupines, armadillos, sloths, kangaroos, and owls! Enjoy a live animal presentation featuring five animal ambassadors and two trained staff members, while they teach all about animal adaptations, habitats, and behavior, answering any questions from the audience.
Tickets are $15 per person, and children two and under are FREE! Additional experiences to add-on to your tickets include sloth encounters for $30, additional animal ambassador encounters for $10, and kangaroo walkabout for $10. These extras can be added on in person during the check-in!
