Head out to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center this February to see a monster truck driver attempt a backflip when No Limits! Monster Trucks returns to town!
There will be three shows, taking place on Friday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m., and 7 p.m.
The event features monster trucks Ghost Ryder, Girl Power, Shockwave, B Ware, Rat Nasty and Anger Management in several different competitions, including racing, a wheelie contest and a freestyle contest.
Driver Larry Quick will be the one to attempt the full-rotation back-flip.
There will be a monster ride truck on-site for attendees interested in seeing the race course from the seat of a real monster truck. There is an additional charge for the ride.
Local drivers looking to get in on the action have the opportunity to compete in the Tuff Truck Races. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a legal driver’s license. To register, call the Checkered Flag Productions office at 940-683-4742 Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Kidzone, a special area for children featuring a place to play with toy monster trucks, returns this year. Power Wheels races are open to kids ages 3-7. To participate in the races, kids must have their own 12-volt racer with no performance modifications. There is a limited amount of racers allowed; call 940-683-4742 to hold a space.
All ticket holders to the No Limits! Monster Trucks show are invited to a pit party that starts an hour before each show. People can meet the drivers and see the trucks up close prior to each event.
Tickets are on sale now at www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org, by phone at 410-548-4911 and in person at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center box office.
