Ah spring is in the air and that means Springfest is on its way! Ocean City’s annual celebration of the busy season kicks off this Thursday with yummy food, arts and crafts and live entertainment from Merle Haggard, LoverBoy and The Fabulous Hubcaps.

While we at ShoreBread know that it is still too early to go swimming, some people are diving in head first to a local river. The Nanticoke Swim and Triathlon takes place in Bivalve and includes a three mile swim in the Nanticoke. We know some crazy swimmers who are gearing up for this event!

Ever need an incentive to go on a run? Does getting covered in colored powder while you run sound enticing? We think it sounds like fun! One of the many “color runs” is coming to Salisbury as an event to promote health awareness and encourage staying in shape while having fun. We’re lacing up our sneakers and we’ll see you there!

St. Michael’s Brew Festival

Another beer festival in on our radar and this time it’s in the quaint town of St. Michaels. This event includes three tents throughout the downtown area where you can choose to sample from over 40 different taps from 15 local and regional breweries. There will also be food, meet the brewer events, live bands and crab racing. Sign us up!
