The holiday season is almost here… with just 2 days until it’s officially turkey day, we’re dreaming of decking the halls, hanging our stockings and sipping on all things peppermint. With December right around the corner, we’re hoping to end November with a BANG! This weekend is jam-packed with Christmas tree lightings, holiday craft expos, Thanksgiving 5K’s and more. As fun as November was, we’re ready to turn the page for the most wonderful time of the year! After all, it means we’re one month closer to summer 😉 Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
Winterfest of Lights
Northside Park, November 20th-January 4th
It’s the event of the Christmas season here in Ocean City. More than one million holiday lights sparkle throughout Northside Park with hundreds of animated, lighted displays. Take a ride on the Winterfest Express to tour the lights and land in the North Pole. In addition to riding the train, relax and sip hot chocolate in the heated Winterfest Village pavilion, check a few Christmas gifts off your list as well! The hours are Sunday through Thursday, 5:30PM to 9:30 PM and Friday and Saturday through 5:30PM to 10:30PM.
Holiday Shopper’s Fair
OC Convention Center, November November 27th-30th
The 32nd Annual Holiday Shopper’s Fair kicks off on November 28th to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. There will be unique handmade merchandise, nautical gifts, candles, photography, florals, jewelry and ceramics. There will be children’s activities, photos with Santa, free parking, a food court and door prizes. The event begins at 10PM and goes until 5PM.
Gabby Gobble 5K
Irish Eyes Restaurant & Pub, November 27th
This is an inspiring story that has touched so many, as well as another terrific event that will benefit the Get Well Gabby Foundation. Located at Irish Eyes Pub, the foundation has created this inaugural 5K! On Thanksgiving Day, the registration begins at 8:30AM and then the race will start at 9:30PM. There will be long sleeve tees, post-race refreshments, and beer. This is a great event with an even BETTER cause!
Rehoboth Beach Tree Lighting and Hometown Sing-Along

The famous hometown tradition! Join the fun with a hometown sing-along and sunset tree lighting. The Rehoboth Beach Tree Lighting festivities will take place at 6PM at the bandstand pavilion.
Berlin Tree Lighting
Downtown Berlin, November 28th
Come enjoy the start of the holiday season in our favorite charming town of Berlin. With refreshments, hot chocolate and yummy warm food from Atlantic Hotel… the event is sure to not disappoint!
4th Annual Hometown Christmas- Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, November 29th, 6:30PM
White Horse Park, Ocean Pines
Join us in the Pines as we welcome the holiday season by lighting up trees decorated by local businesses, community clubs, and neighborhoods. Enjoy a hot cup of cider as you admire the beautiful tree decorations, listen to local choir groups and welcome Santa into town. Businesses, clubs, families and individuals are encouraged to sponsor a tree and help light up the park. Groups that purchase a tree ($45) will have a sign placed at their tree as recognition for participating. Sponsors are responsible for decorating their trees in the theme of their choice. All trees will be in place by November 24th for the ceremony on the 29th.
Dewey Beach Holiday Tree Lighting

The Dewey Beach Tree Lighting festivities will take place on Saturday, November 29th beginning at 6PM. Parking is free on any street in Dewey. Attendees are encouraged to bring their family, refreshments, and their Christmas spirit!
