We’ve been enjoying a gorgeous week so far – exploring the shore, taking advantage of the fall beach days, and reveling in a few outdoor happy hours. Over the next few days we plan on continuing our love affair with fall festivals, and we’re taking you with us! With scrapple, apples, pumpkins, classic cars, and craft beer on the agenda, it’s shaping up to be one fantastic week on Delmarva! Take a look…

What: Beer lovers (or those that simply love any excuse to get outside on a gorgeous fall day for a fun festival) rejoice every October as the Good Beer Festival returns to Salisbury. The historic Pemberton Park is an ideal place to spend a fall day, but for a beer festival, it’s all the better. The event boasts over 100 different American craft brews, along with a Local Beer Garden overflowing with some of our favorite local craft brews like 3rd Wave, Burley Oak, 16 Mile, RAR, Rubber Soul, and Evo. Live music and plenty of local grub make this event a perfect all-day affair. Tickets are $35 for one day, $60 for both days, or $10 for non-tasting.
When: Friday, October 9 & Saturday, October 10
Where: Bridgeville, DE
What: Scrapple, apples, apples, and scrapple…that’s what’s in our very near future as we gear up for our trip to the annual Apple-Scrapple Festival! Food is on the forefront of our minds for this event, but there’s also over 500 vendors that will be in attendance, along with a host of activities and live entertainment to behold. Some of the more unique aspects (as if an event dedicated to scrapple isn’t unique enough) are the Ladies Skillet Toss, the Mayor’s Apple Sling, and the Scrapple Chunkin’ Contest. Stay tuned for LOTS of photos of the fun…
