It’s no secret that we love a good DIY here at Shorebread, especially one that we don’t have to take too seriously.  Creating our own ugly holiday sweater is a DIY we can totally handle.  We’ve got our glitter, pom-poms, tiny bells and garland ready for these Ugly Christmas Sweater Parties.

Layton’s Chance in Vienna, MD

Summer Salts Cafe in Bethany Beach, DE

This is a fundraising event to bring Christmas to the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford. There will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and contests for best male, female and couple ugly sweaters.

The Deli in Salisbury, MD

December 7; 9:00pm

Wear your best ugly sweater to the Deli on December 7.  Enjoy half price appetizers until midnight, karaoke and prizes for the best ugly sweater.

3rd Wave in Delmar, DE

December 9; 6:00pm

The tasting room at 3rd Wave will fill with ugly sweaters on December 9.  Bring an unwrapped toy donation for Toys for Tots and get $1 off your first pint.  At the end of the night, one will take home the title of Ugliest Christmas Get-up.

Delaware Distilling Company in Rehoboth Beach, DE

December 12; 9:00pm

Delaware Distilling Company has adopted 3 families this year.  Help them bring a wonderful Christmas to these families by attending their Ugly Sweater party.  The night will begin with a diner with Santa from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. At 9:00pm Mathew Street Band will provide entertainment.  There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle.  All proceeds will go towards the adopted families.  A prize will be awarded to the person in the ugliest sweater!

Sello’s in Ocean City, MD

Wear your ugly sweater and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and light appetizers at Sello’s.  

Ugly Sweater 5K Fun Run in St. Michael’s, MD

December 17; 9:00am

This is our most active ugly sweater celebration on our list!  Registration for this event is free, but you are asked to bring an unwrapped toy donation.  Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest sweater as well as the racers that can most accurately guess their finishing time before the race. Runners, walkers, strollers and even 4 legged friends are welcome!  Don’t forget to register!
