We’re doing a culinary world tour with stops at restaurants right here on Delmarva. Every now and then we crave something new. You’re bound to find at least a few stops on this list with new and exciting offerings for you!
Irish
Onancock, VA
Venture to the picturesque town of Onancock and you’ll find Blarney Stone Pub. You’ll find many traditional Irish offerings like shepherd’s pie, bangers and mashers, and whiskey glazed salmon, but you’ll also find an Eastern Shore twist with items like the portabella chesapeake and Smitty’s clams.
Lewes & Milton, DE
Whether you’re visiting their Lewes or Milton location, you’ll find delicious Irish food. Corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and reuben egg rolls all fall on the menu, alongside seafood and delicious sandwiches.
Indian
Taj Mahal Restaurant and Tea House
Salisbury, MD
Taj Mahal is a bit hidden from the main road in Salisbury, living at 202 Newton Street, but when you find them, you’ll be hooked. This restaurant offers an Indian and Pakistani dining experience. We’re craving naan, samosas and masala tea. They also have a lunch buffet Friday – Sunday for those that like to try a little bit of everything. Eat in or carry out.

Salisbury, MD
If you love Vietnamese food you’re likely to find what you’re craving at Viet Taste. They have an extensive menu, and is Salisbury’s source for pho. We also really enjoy their clay pot dishes and bubble tea smoothies. Eat in or carry out.
Jamaican
Salisbury, MD
We come to Caribbean Flava for the Jamaican food, but we always leave with dessert. Sure, they offer favorites like rasta pasta, jerk chicken and oxtail, but we get very excited about their cobblers and spiced rum cake. Eat in or carry out.

Reggae Soul Cafe is another option for Jamaican food in the Salisbury area, featuring favorites like curry goat and ackee and saltfish. We also love their lunch specials. Eat in or carry out.
Mexican
Ocean City, MD
If you’re a tequila aficionado, you’ll love Tequila Mockingbird. With over 219 tequila options, they have the largest tequila selection in Maryland. We also love their mango tuna tacos and tequila burrito.
Selbyville, DE
When looking for authenticity, try La Sierra in Selbyville. Pupusas, tortas and pastor tacos are delicious options. This restaurant also features a Mexican store and meat market.
Italian
Ocean City, MD
Located in West Ocean City, Sello’s offers wood fired pizzas and delicious pasta dishes. We love the Arancini Di Riso and Linguine al Pescatore. The ambiance in the restaurant is also dripping with character!
Berlin, MD
Located in Downtown Berlin, Siculi offers a delicious spread of Italian favorites. We can’t resist eggplant parmesan, mussels fra diavolo and their scallops tortellini.
Mediterranean
Rehoboth Beach, DE
Cafe Azafran in Rehoboth Beach offers tapas, imported wines and a full espresso bar. They also offer a delicious breakfast. Almond croissant french toast, anyone?
Ocean City, MD
Kabobs, gyros, stuffed grape leaves and falafel can all be found at OC Kabob in the Gold Coast Mall in Ocean City. We also love that we can get our specialty coffee fix, all in one location!
Salisbury, MD
You can’t go wrong at the Greek Pita Place in Salisbury. We love their gyros and spanakopita, but we also be sure to get some of their delicious french fries every time we go.
Chinese
Thankfully there is no shortage of Chinese restaurants on Delmarva. However, this makes it impossible to pick a select few. Take a look at our Chinese New Year article for a more extensive list of our favorites.

Brasserie Brightwell features French classics like escargot, but is also casual enough to serve fries with nearly every dish. As lovers of a good french fry, we can get behind that decision.

If you’re looking for European ambiance, don’t miss Bon Appetit in Seaford. Their menu features items like country pate, pickled herring and chicken champignons.

The atmosphere at The Cultured Pearl is just as incredible as the food. We love to enjoy their rooftop deck on a summer day. The Cultured Pearl has delicious Donburi Bowls and sushi, but we love this unexpected item – crispy fries topped with cream of crab soup and cheese sauce. How can you resist?

Offering fantastic Thai food in the historic town of Chestertown is Cafe Sado. You’ll find curry dishes as well as Bouillabaisse and sushi. For dessert, you have to try the mango creme brulee.
