Mark your calendars for the 2017 Moveable Feast hosted by the Historic Lewes Farmers Market. This 2nd bi-annual event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29th beginning at 5:30pm. The Moveable Feast has many moving parts and all are orchestrated well with the help of local restaurants and Chefs.

At 5:30pm, the feast will begin at a beautiful home located on Second Street in Lewes, DE where guests will be greeted with passed hors d’ oeuvres served under a spacious white tent. This first course of the Moveable Feast will be prepared by Chef Lion Gardner from Blue Moon. Immediately following hors d’ oeuvres, a live auction will begin with several valuable items that will be awarded to the highest bidders. From there, guests will be directed to the next home on the tour, also located in the area of Second and Shipcarpenter Steets in Downtown Historic Lewes for convenient walking. Due to the quantity of people in the group, guests will be divided into sections of 50 people each to ensure comfort when navigating through the feast. Attendees will see a total of 3 homes while on the tour and will have the opportunity to taste lite fare prepared by these local Chefs in addition to Chef Gardner: Chef Bill Clifton from Henlopen City Oyster House, Chef Ian Crandall from Kindle, Chef Dru Tevis from Fork and Flask at Nage, and Chef Zach Dick from Chesapeake & Maine. Also important to note is that specially-selected wines and local craft beers will be served at each home on the tour.
