The Westside Community Center in Salisbury is offering both new and returning programs this winter. Check out some of the upcoming events and programs to get involved with this seaoson, and don’t forget to attend the Christmas Party this week!

Adult Drop-In Games

This season of adult drop-in programs has begun. Men and women ages 18 and older can participate in Adult Drop-In Volleyball on Monday nights through Feb. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Adult Drop-In Pickleball on Tuesday nights through Feb. 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Adult Drop-In Basketball will run Wednesday nights from Jan. 2-Feb. 27. The times are also 6:30-8:30 p.m. The drop-in programs are free for members and $3 per night for nonmembers.

First Fridays: Parents’ Nights Out

The First Fridays Parents’ Night Out program also returns for the winter months. This program will be held from 6-10 p.m. on Dec. 7, Jan. 4 and Feb. 1. Parents can drop off children at the Westside Community Center and enjoy a night out. The fee is $6 per child for child members and $12 for child nonmembers.

Chess Club

The Westside Community Center Chess Club is a new program that will run Wednesdays from Jan. 23-Feb. 27. It’s for all ages and will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. The club is free for members and there is a $3 drop-in fee for nonmembers.

Christmas Party

The center’s annual Christmas Party is back Thursday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. It is free and for all ages; just bring a covered dish to share.
