Cocktails, party favors and live music will be filling the Delmarva area this New Year’s Eve. Beginning at 9:30pm, the streets of Berlin–America’s Coolest Small Town–will be filled with music, dancing, food, refreshments and live entertainment. The ball drop and main festivities will be at the junction of Main St. and Broad St. Get there a little early to take a horse and carriage ride throughout the town to see the beautiful sights and holiday lights starting at 8pm.
Looking to party until 4am? Then this is your ideal NYE destination. Live entertainment from five bands and three DJ’s throughout the night, a balloon drop and complimentary champagne toast at midnight will keep you moving! Cover charge ranges from $20-$40, dependent upon arrival time, and dinner reservations are available.
At Hollywood St. and the boardwalk, the third annual Beach Ball Drop in Bethany will start at 10:30pm, beginning with a live DJ, free party favors, refreshments and prizes! Hosted by Bethany Beach Ocean Suites.
Only ticket holders are admitted to this New Years Eve celebration after 7pm. “Bar and Deck” tickets are $40/person, covering admission, party favors, a 2018 VIP Card and a complementary midnight champagne toast. Live entertainment includes Everett Spells from 7-10pm, DJ Hook at 9pm, and What’s Next Band at 10pm.
NYE Keg Drop
Head to Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes for live music from The Clifford Keith Band during this year’s NYE party. Tickets are $50/person and include access to food stations offering heavy apps, live music, the New Years Keg Drop, and their Rose Red beer release.
Anchor Drop at Lightship Overfalls
Lewes’s seventh annual Drop of the Anchor–weather dependent– will have bonfires, hot cocoa and seasonal music from 11:30pm-1am.
Featuring a special dinner menu with reservations available for 5:30pm and 8pm, Big Easy on 60th St. in Ocean City will feature Dirt Deals Blues Band, a champagne toast and a late-night breakfast as you celebrate the New Year.
The party begins at 11:30pm sharp! Between New Orleans St. and Route 1, this free event is a great way to ring in the New Year. Before the countdown, stop by surrounding restaurants like or Hammerheads or Dewey Beer Co.
Don’t forget to do the Dewey Dunk the following day at noon on Dagsworthy Ave. Beach! The $25/person charge accounts for a T-shirt, wristband for local deals and discounts, and a pre-dunk bonfire and party.
Ring in 2018 with Love Seed Mama Jump, JJ Rupp, DJ Hugh, DJ Scooter and DJ Red Foxx at Rusty Rudder (113 Dickinson St.) in Dewey. Tickets are $110, including an open bar, buffet, photo booth and fortune teller. Event goes from 9pm-1am.
