Cruisin’ up and down Coastal Highway, Chevrolets, Cadillacs and Mercedes-Benzes dating back to the early 1900s fill the streets of Ocean City. The weekend, May 18th to the 21st, the town will welcome over 3,500 vehicles for the 27th Annual Cruisin’ Ocean City.

You’ll find the two hottest spots to be the Ocean City Inlet parking lot, located at 809 South Atlantic Ave, and the Ocean City Convention Center, located bayside on 40th Street of Coastal Highway. Aside from these set locations, spectators will line the streets and set up their tents and chairs as the automobiles enter the town. Show hours are Thursday-Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 9am-3pm.

This 27th Annual Cruisin’ Ocean City event brings in over 3,500 vehicles from over 20 states across the country (and Canada!). That’s a lot of cars, meaning they won’t all be at the two locations the entire weekend. If you can’t make your way down to the Inlet or Convention Center, don’t worry–you will see some car show fanatics surrounding small setups of old-time vehicles at varying business locations along the highway.

Along with these vintage, valued street machines, Ocean City welcomes special guests and live music entertainment all weekend long. Erik Estrada from the well-known classic “CHiPs” will be at the Convention Center on Friday, May 19th from 11am-4pm, and at the Inlet Saturday from 11am-4pm and Sunday 11am-1pm. Additional entertainment will include Kevin Mack from the TV show “Counting Cars,” BINGO, Seaside Jimmy and others! Make sure not to miss the Flintstone Mobile show car on display in the convention center Friday and Saturday.

We hope you also purchased tickets to see Under the Streetlamp, because as they like to say, “Retro never sounded so now.” The group will be performing Thursday at 8pm at Ocean City’s Performing Arts Center located inside the Convention Center.

Along with endless entertainment, there will be vendors at the Inlet selling everything from automotive parts and merchandise to crafts and jewelery.

Your tickets, $10/day Thursday and Sunday, $15/day Friday and Saturday, are good at both locations. Children under the age of 14 have free admission when accompanied by an adult. To get a good look at all of the prized automobiles in town, make sure to catch one of the three Boardwalk Parades taking place Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings at 8am from 27th street to the Inlet.
