Berlin Bridal Stroll
Participating businesses will have wedding related floor or window displays, it's also the official opening of Bustle bridal boutique, and there's a contest to win a wedding basket of gifts. Anyone can participate in the wedding basket giveaway. To enter the drawing, pick up an envelope at a participating business, visit every site listed on the envelope and collect a business card from each. Bring the envelope and cards to Bustle before 8 p.m. for the drawing. More than $2,000 worth of bridal goods will be given away during the contest. The Berlin Bridal Stroll runs from 5 – 8 pm in downtown Berlin, MD.
Strawberry Festival
The Historic Lewes Farmer’s Market is celebrating growing season with a Strawberry Festival. On Saturday, June 9th, strawberry themed goodie giveaways, product sales, cooking demonstrations, and children’s activities will take place. All events will be held at the Lewes Historical Society Complex, 110 Shipcarpenter Street. Strawberries and champagne will be served to those over 21 years of age. Live music will take place on grounds. The event starts at 3 pm and commences at 5. For more information, call the Historical Society at 302-645-7670
The OC Car & Truck Show
The OC Car & Truck Show is the largest automotive and youth culture event in Ocean City and on the East Coast. Hundreds of vehicles will be present and live musical acts will be performing all weekend. The show features exotic cars, tricked trucks, lowered SUVs, cruisers, classics, bikes, vendors, displays, and special guest appearances. The show opens at 9 am on both Saturday and Sunday, June 9th – 10th, at the Convention Center on 40th Street.
OC Air Show
The popular OC Air Show comes to Ocean City this weekend. This annual event runs Saturday and Sunday this weekend starting at noon, both days. The planes, jets, and military air crafts will be visible along the entire length of the boardwalk. This is a neat experience for all visitors. Wicomico Geocache Dash
Spend the day finding event related caches around Wicomico County. The first 250 cachers to return to the after party, at 2 pm, at Winterplace Park in Salisbury receive a commemorative coin. The after party features a bounce house, zoo presentation, food vendors, crab feast, and pickup corn hole. This event is free and takes place at the Winterplace Park Pavilion. Event registration begins at 8 am and ends at 10 am.
OC Beach Lights Spectacular
OC Beach Lights presents a Beach Lights Spectacular on Sunday, June 3rd. The free laser lights show will be displayed on a giant five-story beach ball and is choreographed to music. Three shows will take place: 9:30, 10, and 10:30 pm. The show will be lighting up the beach at North Division Street in Ocean City three times every Sunday night through Labor Day Weekend.
