While searching for things to do in the Ocean City area this weekend, you're going to see all kinds of news about the Dew Tour – and rightfully so – it's a huge deal! The Dew Tour will be bringing sports, big headlining live bands, athletes, and entertainment to the shore. Best part? It's free this year! Socially Speaking, the Dew Tour is the place to be. Now, now, don't think we forgot about all of you who dislike large crowds of rallying youngins'… Here's a list of other events, activities, and neat things happening on the Eastern Shore this weekend:

Ocean City Dew Tour

The Dew Tour is back in town this weekend. The Tour will be set up on the beach (at Dorchester Street) for four days of non-stop action, featuring the biggest names in skateboarding and BMX.  Like last year, there will be skate and BMX vert contests, as well as Pro and Legends competitions in the Dew Tour's portable concrete skate bowl. There will also be BMX park contests and an evening surf event.  Several action sports stars are confirmed to compete. The Dew Tour Experience is an all-day party, with giveaways and athlete autograph sessions. The Dew Tour Pantech Beach Championships are free to attend, with Premium Passes available for purchase on the Dew Tour website. 3rd Friday Arts Night in Salisbury

Gear up and get out to Salisbury, MD on Friday, August 17th. Third Friday in downtown Salisbury starts at 5 pm. A variety of talented local artists will set up shop on East Main Street in downtown Salisbury to display their art, sell their hand-made goods, or exhibit their photography. 3rd Friday Flick on the Riverfront happens in Riverfront Park at 8:30, too. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair and watch a film on the lawn. The event is free to attend, which leaves no excuses for not hanging out and having a good time with friends and family. Wicomico Farm & Home Show

The Wicomico Farm & Home Show is an annual event in which county locals celebrate their heritage, culture, and community by providing wholesome family fun, great entertainment, friendly competition, and educational experiences fit for the whole family. The event takes place at Winterplace Park off of Route 50 in Salisbury, MD. This show marks the 76th year of fair traditions. Admission and parking for the event is free. Ocean City Museum Aquarium Feeding & Kids Activities

The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum is presenting a fun, children-oriented program this weekend. On Friday afternoon, kids can learn about ‘storm warriors’ and how past groups of Coast Guard members weathered out storms while at sea. On Saturday, at 10 am, children and adults are invited to learn about local sea life and the museum’s resident critters enjoy their morning meal. The aquarium feeding program is free and held outside the museum (located at the Ocean City inlet on the boardwalk). This event is weather permitting. Festival Hispano

Participate in a celebration of Latino cultural heritage in Millsboro this Sunday. From 12 – 6 pm, Latin dance, music, food, and history will be presented at the Millsboro Little League Complex on State Street in Millsboro, DE. Children’s entertainment and activities are scheduled, too. Admission to the event is free.
 

Sundaes in the Park

Have a sundae this Sunday in Ocean City. Bring the family, a chair, or blanket and enjoy an after dinner treat. Free local and regional musical groups will perform. From 7 – 9 pm, guests can create their own ice cream sundae for a small fee. Free family concerts are offered every Sunday evening in July and August. Sundaes in the Park take place in Northside Park, 127th Street, bayside in Ocean City.
 

Beach Lights Spectacular

OC Beach Lights presents a Beach Lights Spectacular on Sunday, August 12th. The free laser lights show will be displayed on a giant five-story beach ball and is choreographed to music. Three shows will take place: 9:30, 10, and 10:30 pm. The show will be lighting up the beach at North Division Street in Ocean City three times every Sunday night through Labor Day Weekend.
