Intuit GoPayment is a small credit card reader device that plugs into the headphone jack on a mobile device and turns that smartphone or tablet into a mobile credit card terminal. With just one app download, and one free, removable addition to your phone – you could have a mobile credit card terminal!

Intuit GoPayment accepts Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover cards. Intuit is best for individuals and those who conduct low-volume businesses. High volume businesses can use Intuit GoPayment simply for its easy convenience, but better rates from a traditional merchant account provider are generally available.

There are credit card usage fees associated with this app/card reader combo. There is no monthly fee connected to having an Intuit GoPayment account. Users can pay as little as 2.7% per swipe on any participating credit card transactions.  View the swipe fees in the chart below:

GoPayment by Intuit removes the barrier that usually stops small business from getting a credit card machine – too much overhead, too much tax, etc. With GoPayment, small businesses and individuals can easily accept credit cards. A quick and easy online form is all you need to fill out in order to have a free card reader mailed to you.

Download the app for free for iPhones or Androids and a free card reader will be delivered to your mailbox within 4 to 7 business days. Funds from transactions are deposited within 2 to 3 days after initial swipe.

To register for Intuit GoPayment, visit gopayment.com.
