Thursday August 11th through Wednesday August
17th.

For many locals, July passed by in a blur of hot and humid
temperatures and busy schedules.  All
over the shore people can be heard asking, ”where has summer gone?”

The official summer season doesn’t end until Labor Day, but
if you have children, it feels even shorter with most schools returning for
another year on August 29th.
If you’re a college student, the lease on the season of fun draws to a
close within the next few weeks.  And if
your time on our shores is limited to just one week, you certainly want to fit
in as many enjoyable activities as possible.

Below you’ll find highlights of events and entertainment;
many activities, especially those geared towards families, are free.  Get out and celebrate the rest of what
summer has to offer.
