OC Bike Fest, Delmarva Bike Week, Bikes to the Beach
These three organizations are bringing more than 120,000 bikers to the Eastern Shore this weekend. National entertainment, live bands, stunt shows, custom bike builders, motorcycle-related vendors, fair food, and activities will be held across Delmarva. Hot spots? 2nd Friday Art Stroll
Berlin’s monthly arts night will take place on Friday, September 14th from 5 to 8 pm. View new works by local artist, Matthew Amey. Amey has been a tattoo artist since 1991 and often creates pieces made with oil, acrylic, watercolor, glass, and digital elements. His work will be on display at the Berlin Chamber of Commerce on Main Street. An Ocean City photographer, Mark Huey, will be displaying a collection of photos at Si’ Culi. Work will be showcased and for sale in the upstairs gallery of the Italian restaurant. The Waystead Inn will be showcasing work by Berlin painter, Patrick Henry, and cooking up some BBQ during the Art Stroll, as well.
Eleven Forks Dinner
The Good Farm of West Ocean City will be holding their monthly Eleven Forks Dinner at their Mariner’s Country Downs location. The potluck dinner is open to all who agree to bring a dish to share. All dishes must consist of locally produced or home-cooked specialties. Entertainment will be provided. The Good Farm asks that all who plan to attend RSVP by Friday night, September 14th. Artists’ Studio Tours
The Lewes, DE Chamber of Commerce will hold an arts tour on Saturday, September 15th. Starting at 10 am, the public is welcomed to explore various art studios in the historic town. Artists will open their private studios and display their most recent work. Maps are available at the Chamber office. Call the Chamber at 302-645-8073 for more information.
Arts and Jazz Festival
The Freeman Stage at Bayside in Selbyville, DE presents their Arts and Jazz Festival this weekend. On Sunday, September 16th, guests are invited to stroll the property and enjoy checking out the work of Delmarva’s finest artists. All artists present are sponsored by Delaware by Hand.
